Southport CT - The United States Small Business Administration at its Annual Minority Enterprise Development Week conference recently announced the Nations Top Small Business of the Year. With over 9 million Diversity owned businesses generating more than $1.4 trillion in revenue, Computer Consulting Associates International Inc. (CCA) of Southport, CT was selected as one of the Top 10. The SBA acknowledged CCA for its unique expertise in the Information Technology field and for development of its flagship website Div2000.com. Div2000.com is a multicultural, b2b Internet portal that addresses the business needs between large organizational buyers and multicultural business owners. Kenton Clarke, CCA’s CEO stated “We are proud the SBA acknowledged CCA for providing this service free to the Small Business Community and for assisting with the development of other businesses”. Div2000.com has been in continuous operations since 1999, winning numerous awards and has gained national recognition for its content and site design. Currently, Div2000.com has over 15 thousand members across the United States. CCA formed in 1980, is one of the largest multicultural owned Information Technology firms in the U.S. SBA Administrator Hector Baretto, and Commerce Secretary Donald Evans attended the conference. A White House ceremony to present the awards was canceled due to the events of September 11th.
