NEW YORK -- Liberty Power Corporation, an independent energy
service company, announced today that it was awarded a power
supply contract by New York Life Insurance Company, the
nation's largest mutual life insurer.
"Supplying competitively priced power to a Fortune 100
company like New York Life is a great milestone for us," said
Eliezer Hernandez, Chief Relationship Officer, Liberty Power.
"Liberty Power offers competitive rates and continues to make
client service a top priority."
"We are pleased to partner with Liberty Power, a company that
has a solid reputation for providing quality service to its
customers," said Annette Ficucello, Director of Supplier
Diversity, New York Life. "This partnership is an outgrowth of
New York Life's commitment to provide more opportunity to
minority-owned enterprises, like Liberty Power, through our
Supplier Diversity Program."
Jones Lang LaSalle, New York Life's property management
company, recommended Liberty to supply power to New York Life's
Home Office building. This 40-story landmark building was
designed in the 1920s by noted architect Cass Gilbert, who is
best known for designing the Woolworth Building and the United
States Supreme Court. New York Life has been headquartered in
its building since 1928.
Liberty's partnership with New York Life is the latest in a
series of client relationships the company has established with
global business leaders since Liberty began supplying power
services within New York State in September, 2002. From its
regional offices located in the Empire State Building, Liberty
manages a rapidly expanding portfolio of clients including the
U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense,
Linens 'n Things, and Autozone.
